The AA policy contingent was cordially invited to the House of Lords Communication Committee on Tuesday for the chillest of chats about UK advertising and its myriad issues.

Along with ISBA and the IAB, the Committee checked in on advertising’s Brexit POV, and the digital challenges facing our industries from barriers to entry, market disruption and audience measurement.

What next? Well , the Committee was less than forthcoming on where it might consequently head, but the smart money’s on an advertising enquiry in the Autumn. Meanwhile, we push on with our Industrial Strategy workstreams. TBC after Summer Recess….
