Advertising and marketing is a key stakeholder in data and privacy legislation. We support rules that reduce unnecessary burdens on business and secure the continued growth of the UK’s online advertising ecosystem, while maintaining existing high standards of data protection. We welcomed the introduction of the Data (Use and Access) Act and continue to engage positively with Government on secondary legislation concerning cookies, as well as maintain regular dialogue with the ICO on advertising regulation.
