We will be hosting a session on the latest Brexit negotiations on Wednesday, October 7th at 9-9.30am, for our Front Foot members.
Konrad Shek, Deputy Director, Policy & Regulation will give an update on the Government’s Brexit negotiations as these enter the final stages. There will also be a Q&A.
The Brexit talks are currently in stalemate, but the clock ticks on and the transition period will end on 31 December. Without a deal in place the UK and EU could end up crashing on WTO terms which will mean significant barriers to trade. In this session we ask, what are the sticking points? How has the internal market bill changed the equation? Will there be a last-minute political breakthrough?
This insight session will provide a stock take on Brexit negotiations and prospects for getting a deal. Regardless of whether we get a deal with the EU or not, our trading relationship will change, and this insight session will identify key risk areas where your business may be affected.
