Wow. Celebrity Traitors has reached another level of entertainment this week, with the intrigue pivoting around which celebrity is least trusted to be ‘A Faithful’. Mark’s defence even included a plea to ’trust me’. We write about this new cultural phenomenon in our soon-to-be-published book, Trusted Advertising. Right now, trust is box office gold. It’s certainly been the golden thread running through this week.
We held a special Front Front breakfast event at Talon’s sparkly new HQ – where Marketreach presented their impressive new report, The Trust Factor – I highly recommend checking out the 8 pillars of brand trust. From there, we held one of our regular Trust Working Group meetings including a heads-up on new Credos and Opinium research into the public’s trust of advertising. This will be unveiled at LEAD in February, so make sure you’ve booked your ticket here. I was also invited by Ian Maynard at Go Inspire to a special breakfast to talk trust with some major brands and joined our peers from the ASA on stage at a buzzing CreatorFest to talk trust, brands and creators.
So, if you want to talk more about trust, brands and advertising, drop us a line. Trust me, we’ve got lots to say!

And finally, I thoroughly enjoyed listening to WPP’s Chief AI Officer, Daniel Hulme, speaking on BBC Radio 4’s Today Programme to share WPP’s vision for AI. You can listen to it here. Also, my colleague, Sharon, has been sharing her experiences and thoughts with Campaign about the topic of ageism in adland. It’s an excellent read.
