Last Thursday, July 14th, we held our annual President’s Reception on the roof terrace of IPG, Mediabrands, just opposite the Old Bailey in London. The event was hosted by our President Alessandra Bellini, CCO, Tesco. The evening began with an overview of our recent accomplishments, including the global expansion of our sustainability workstream, Ad Net Zero and the latest All In actions. We also took a moment to talk about the first companies qualifying as All In Champions.
We then turned to look at the future as we prepare for the release of our three-year strategy, which will focus on talent and how our industry can retain its future leaders.
Rupert Daniels, Director of Digital, Education, Creative, Consumer and Sports at the Department for International Trade, then joined Alessandra, giving a brilliant speech on how the UK advertising industry can continue its growth following strong export figures of £11.7bn. He also recapped the success of LIONS 2022.
