The Advertising Pays series of reports from Credos studies advertising’s contribution to the UK’s economy. 

From the first report, published in 2013, to the latest and ninth edition, the series has evidenced the economic impact of advertising through employment, GVA, SME growth, exports, talent, and the cultural, media and digital services it funds.  

The latest report in the series, Advertising Pays 2025: Powering the UK’s Changing Economy takes stock of our industry and how it has changed during the first quarter of the 21st Century. It also updates the key economic benefits of advertising outlined in previous reports.
