The Advertising Association Parliamentary Reception is in the House of Commons Churchill Room on the evening of 27 October, hosted by Damian Collins MP.

This year, on the eve of COP26, we will be showcasing the advertising industry’s Ad Net Zero programme, an ambitious action plan we have embarked on to help advertising companies achieve net zero by 2030. At the reception, we will share information about:

• each tenet of the Ad Net Zero Action Plan, including the work that is underway to measure industry emissions and get to real net zero;
• AdGreen, the world’s first zero-waste, zero-carbon advertising production standard;
• and the training being rolled out across the industry

We recognise that the advertising industry can play a role in helping to build a net zero economy, promoting the innovation and competition needed to achieve this goal, and helping in the creation of ‘green’ jobs as we shift to a more sustainable way of living.
