The Advertising Association promotes the role and rights of responsible advertising and its value to people, society, businesses and the economy. We represent UK advertisers, agencies, media owners and tech companies on behalf of the entire industry, acting as the connection between industry professionals and the politicians and policy-makers.

A A A

The Advertising Association focuses on major industry and policy areas that have huge ramifications on UK advertising. This section contains our work around public health, gambling advertising, data and e-privacy, trust, the digital economy and more.

Credos is the advertising industry’s independent think tank. It produces research, evidence and reports into the impact and effectiveness of and public and political response to advertising on behalf of UK advertisers in order to enable the industry to make informed decisions.

Front Foot is our industry’s member network of over 90 businesses across UK advertising. It aims to promote the role of responsible advertising and its value to people, society and the economy through a coalition of senior leaders from advertisers, agencies and media owners.

We run a number of events throughout the year, from our annual LEAD summit to the Media Business Course and regular breakfast briefings for our members. We are also the official UK representative for the world’s biggest festival of creativity – Cannes Lions.

TESTIMONIALS FROM RESET 2021

“It was a really terrific event this morning—well-paced, varied, stimulating. It’s not an easy thing to do. Good talks and excellent discussions. First rate”

Douglas McCabe, Enders Analysis

“Just a note to say a big THANK YOU for letting me join you at RESET today – it was great. Really enjoyed it – fantastic line up (and brilliant turn out too) and very thought-provoking!”

Pippa Glucklich, Electric Glue

“Congratulations on a great RESET. I religiously sat through every minute & thought it was on the whole, outstanding, with some terrific highlights”

Mark Howe, Google

“Congratulations on a great event. Killer content on stage all morning (as usual for LEAD) and an extremely slick and well presented platform to do it all on. I hope you and the team are all delighted.”

Tom Stevens, IAB

“I really enjoyed RESET. Events like this are brilliant face to face but can lose their ‘spark’ online, this wasn’t the case with RESET which retained the buzz, excitement and pace of an in-person event. The production values were incredibly slick, I was very impressed. The speakers were excellent and the issues covered were varied and relevant. Overall it was a brilliant industry event, massive congratulations to everyone involved. ”

Kim Martinez, ASA

“Congratulations again on RESET, I was blown away by the line up!”

Miles Beckwith, Assistant Director, BEIS

“I just wanted to send you a quick note to say a huge thank you for such a thought-provoking and engaging event. Online events are always tricky and we’re still all getting used to them, but the content and line-up was superb. ”
