MBC Day 3: Pitch Day

Day Three of the Media Business Course was all about preparing for the moment every syndicate had been working towards – Pitch Day.

The morning began with a keynote from Simon Daglish OBE, Deputy Managing Director of Commercial at ITV, who shared his personal journey and the lessons he has learnt from embracing challenge and change.

Kevin Chesters, strategist and author of The Creative Nudge, then explored why creativity is a skill everyone can develop and why it remains essential to progress, innovation and effective problem-solving.

Following the announcement of the judging panel and presentation slots, the teams spent the afternoon refining their pitches before presenting their media plans to the judges.

The evening concluded with a drinks reception and Gala Dinner with a DJ set from Jay London of Capital.
