EU policy and engagement

European policy remains relevant to many UK advertising businesses. The Advertising Information Group (AIG) brings together advertising bodies from across Europe to coordinate on key policy areas including digital fairness, political advertising, AI and data regulation. The AA co-leads the AIG secretariat alongside the German Advertising Federation (ZAW) and the Austrian Advertising Association (WKO), convening regular meetings to discuss developments. A wider AIG Exchange group, made up of Brussels-based organisations, ensures the voice of advertising is heard at the heart of EU policymaking.
