Gambling advertising was liberalised under the Gambling Act (2005) and must be undertaken in a socially responsible manner. This was reiterated in the Government’s 2023 Gambling White Paper and is regulated through the B/CAP Codes.
We engage with stakeholders across the gambling ecosystem and work closely with the CAP and BCAP Codes when rules are being reviewed – particularly on protecting young people and the vulnerable.
