The National Gallery
Ocean Outdoor
The National Gallery and Ocean Outdoor teamed up to “move” some of the Gallery’s most famous pieces of art outside across the UK. Outdoor Ocean is offering its digital sites to the National Gallery for free for two weeks so that pieces by the likes of Van Gogh, Monet, and Rousseau can be enjoyed by the public while the gallery is closed.
The goal of the project is no not only provide art to cities, but to also provide some cheer to the front line workers and the general public. The National Gallery and Ocean Outdoor both recognise the potential to have a positive impact on the nation’s mental well-being by showing off some of the nation’s greatest paintings.
