GET BEHIND THE ALL IN CENSUS
The countdown for the All In Census is on! There’s less than one month to go, with everyone in the advertising and marketing industries encouraged to have their say in our inclusion survey on March 15.
From the first survey in 2021, we created a set of nine actions to help drive greater inclusion in our industry. This is the time to track our progress, as well as find out about new topics such as hybrid working.
If you would like to find out more about how your company can support the All In Census – we’ve picked out a few key ideas:

MEDIA BUSINESS COURSE – EARLY BIRD CATCHES THE WORM
We are delighted that following last year’s sell-out success, our Media Business Course is returning to Brighton this summer from 11-14 July.
Founded in 1964, MBC is firmly established as the key event in the calendar where thousands of young media industry practitioners receive an inspirational and often life-changing learning experience.
Delegates are divided into syndicates to work on a blue-chip client brief and create a full media strategy before pitching against each other to become the prestigious MBC champions. Delegates will be guided through the process by expert tutors whilst enjoying presentations from a fantastic line-up of some of the best speakers from adland.
Earlybird tickets are now on sale – but act soon! – they’re only available until the end of April.

SUPPORTING DEAF & HARD OF HEARING VIEWERS WITH CLEARCAST
We are delighted to announce our latest AA Council and Front Foot member, Clearcast, best known for providing ad clearance support to get your ads on air. Beyond this, they have a range of initiatives including supporting accessible advertising.
Approximately 12 million people in the UK are deaf or hard of hearing. Research shows that 7.5 million people use subtitles for programming and 6 million of those don’t have a hearing impairment, but still very few brands choose to subtitle their ads.
We’re supporting Clearcast with their upcoming initiative to understand more about why the uptake of accessible advertising is so low and will be sharing their survey soon. So watch this space.
