The Advertising Association is delighted to be awarded its IPA Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Gold & Platinum status for the second year in a row, which recognises sustained excellence following on from six years of achieving CPD Gold.

All organisations awarded IPA CPD Gold have demonstrated that CPD lies at the heart of their business and supports real business objectives, as well as the development of employees both professionally and personally. It is an accolade that recognises an embedded, effective and innovative culture of learning.

In the feedback report from the judges, the AA was praised for placing its people and members at the centre of their work: “Dedicated to CPD, with inspirational role modelling and a resourceful approach, the Advertising Association demonstrates unwavering dedication to its people and members, placing them at the heart of everything they do. The Advertising Association is continually moving forward – and taking their people on the journey with them.”

The AA’s HR Consultant Tanya Whitehead said: “The effectiveness of our people is crucial to us providing value for our members and effecting real change across the advertising industry. The CPD Gold process supports us with this, helping us to keep learning at the forefront of our mind, and ensuring time and money spent on development is strategic, gains maximum return on investment and supports our organisational objectives. Achieving Gold & Platinum status is a wonderful external validation of the importance and effort we put into CPD – highlighting to current and future staff that we take their development seriously.”

CEO Stephen Woodford said, “We value the CPD programme very highly and it has been key to transforming our people strategy and to our success as a membership organisation. We are proud to retain our Platinum status.”

Congratulations to all the AA members who have been recognised by the IPA for their CPD achievements. Find out more about the programme and other recipients here.
