We are proud to publish our new three-year plan, outlining our new objective ‘Making the Case for Advertising’.
This three-year strategy covers 2023-2025 and sets out the priorities that the our membership want to see addressed, to help to make the advertising industry more trusted, more valued, more inclusive, more sustainable and more resilient.
The strategy has been developed in collaboration with AA Council members, comprising more than 40 leaders from advertisers, agencies, media owners, tech companies, and trade bodies.
As part of this, we have updated our mission, which now reads:
The AA unites the UK’s advertising industry to promote the role and rights of responsible advertising – advertising that is trusted, inclusive and sustainable – and its value to people, society, businesses, and the economy.
On the launch, our CEO Stephen Woodford said: “Anything we achieve as the industry’s trade organisation is only with the inspiration, support and hard work of the many members who support our efforts. This programme of work we think reflects their top priorities – their shared desire to see an advertising industry that is more trusted, more inclusive, more sustainable, that can attract and keep the best talent and can have an open and constructive relationship with the Government. It is a privilege to work on their behalf to tackle these issues and more.”
