Join us on Thursday 16 September, 08:45-09:30am to find out about the advertising and trading restrictions in place during the Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022.
The Games will take place from 28 July – 8 August next year at a number of venues across the West Midlands, as well as the Velodrome at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.
The Birmingham Commonwealth Games Act 2020 sets out provisions to restrict certain advertising and trading within ‘event zones’ around each of the Games locations, as well as an ‘association right’ to protect the rights of commercial sponsors and prevent ‘ambush marketing’. The details around the exact time and locations of the restrictions will be set out in the advertising and trading regulations in the Autumn, but this will be a great opportunity to hear insights directly from the Organising Committee and raise any questions or concerns that you may have.
Please note, this event is for Front Foot members only.
