Body Image, Influencers and Digital Alteration

The potential for advertising to contribute to negative body image is an issue that our sector takes seriously, and we are engaging proactively with key stakeholders in Parliament and industry. This has included discussions with Dr Luke Evans MP in relation to his campaign on Body Image in advertising, to navigate a way forward which supports the substantial work that is already being undertaken by industry. This includes the self-regulatory rules already in place under the B/CAP Codes.
