UKAEG LAUNCHES NEW CAMPAIGN AHEAD OF SXSW
On Wednesday, the UK Advertising Exports Group (UKAEG) was delighted to launch a new campaign to help promote the UK as a global hub for advertising around the world in partnership with the Department for Business and Trade (DBT).
The campaign comes ahead of plans for this year’s SXSW in Austin, Texas where more than 40 UK companies are participating in this year’s trade mission from March 10-14, many featuring in the prestigious UK House at SXSW.
For the first time, the new campaign will specifically target North America featuring the work of several UKAEG members, these include: Coffee & TV, Crowd, The Mill, VCCP, M&C Saatchi London, Talent Republic, adam&eveDDB, Madam Films, Billion Dollar Boy and Umbrella.
The new campaign launches as UKAEG prepares to deliver its biggest showcase of innovation at SXSW this year, with over 20 talks at UK House & SXSW main stages alongside exclusive roundtables in partnership with the American Advertisers Federation (AAF).

CIVIL SERVANTS TOUR ADLAND
On Tuesday, our Public Affairs team curated a tour of AdLand for civil servants from DCMS and the newly formed Department for Business and Trade.
The AdLand Tour provided civil servants an opportunity for sector leaders M&C Saatchi, Clear Channel, and 750mph, to present their work to Government officials.
The tour allowed our industry to showcase their creativity to Governmental departments with key networking opportunities on offer throughout the day.
Civil servants were treated to interactive sessions, which prompted Government officials to ask a wide variety of questions, about talent & skills, competitiveness & exports, and the sector’s social contribution to wider society.
